This is because it will get too stressful and overwhelming if you don’t give yourself enough time. This timeline will help you organize your time more efficiently, prioritize tasks, and track your progress in a realistic manner.
Utilizing Your Moving Checklist
So, you have two months before you move. Here are the top things you should get done:
- Create an inventory of your possessions – this sounds tedious, but it will be a lifesaver once you officially move. This isn’t just about keeping track of what you have; it will also help you identify what you want to sell, give, or get rid of.
- Measure your new home – If you already have the new place secured early on, make sure to measure all the necessary spots as early as possible.
